Nice little boozer, pretty decent inside, felt cozy, OK selection of beers and spirits, though lack a good top shelf whisky, or did that night. Great staff, super chilled and friendly. Toilets need a refresh.

Nice, traditional "olde worlde" pub with lots of character. Very good value food menu for £7, plus other options. Friendly helpful staff

Boothroyd agrees that this a good place for an old King to drink. Surprisingly large pub with a rear patio. Boothroyd decided on a pint of draught Bass. Very good traditional ale. Sat in the strand twixt bar and garden, close to the Throne Room. Enjoyed the music.

I do not enjoy football (sorry). But we went to the kings today and watched the football. Excellent food at half time, superb atmosphere. There was a disco that played what the customers asked. Had a sing along. Made new friends and actually enjoyed the football. Well done Steve and Keyley, you run a great pub and thank you. Had the best time ever
